Wanted to share this in case it helps the problem where you get a black screen after selecting "Satcom" in menu.
I've tested this multiple times so far and it seems to have done the trick. I tried with a bunch of other suggested variables and settings but it was these two that actually fixed it.

- Select "DMA Busy Hack" in Game Fixes under Settings, ensure there's a checkmark in the box. (May have to enable advanced settings, I'm not sure).
- Set EE Cycle Rate under Emulation settings to 130% (You'll get a warning message about performance but you can ignore, I'm 10 hours in using Satcom with no black screen or crashes but YMMV)
