i already used pcsx 0.9.5 too and it has the same error
maybe my config settings are wrong? i don't understand about denormals are zero or something...

Just use the latest PCSX2 playground beta.

Makenboshi:
Get the latest beta. Delete your pcsx2.ini (and pcsx2-pg.ini). Set it up so it uses Linuz iso cdvd plugin.
Leave all gamefixes and hacks and advanced options untouched.
Try that battle.

If it still crashes, please copy the last few lines of the console here (or do a screenshot of it).

update :
seems the problem lies with tear's nightmare fonic arte
if i disable the fonic arte the battle doesn't crash
but now i can't go back to the map Sad

well, i tried it too. and i found no problems. all battles in that place is crash free. i used the latest svn from beta thread.
