My Gameplay is slow
#1
Hy guys!
I want to play Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex on PCSX2 SVN Revision 2540,but the gameplay is like slowmotion, the cutscenes, menus are works great but the gameplay is slow

My specs:
Intel Pentium D 3Ghz(I know its not good) its supports SSE2
Chipset video card supports pixel shader 2
1GB Ram

Plugins i use:
Graphics :GSdx 2534 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.15. (GSdx-SSE2)

options in this plugin:
Direct3D9 (HardWare)
Interlacing:None
D3D internal res.:1024x1024
Or use scaling:1x (use D3D internal res.)
Or use PS2 resolution:Native(checked)
SW rend.Threads:1
Texture Filtering(checked)
Logarithmic Z(checked)
Allow 8 bit textures(unchecked)
Alpha Correction FBA(checked)
Enable output blur effect(checked)

SoundWackoPU2-X r2474 1.3.0. (SPU2-X)
Interpolation:
1-Linear(recommended)
Module:
2-DirectSound(nice)
Others are default

So whats the problem?....Why the game is slow....????(i think my CPU and video card is bad)

you answered the question by yourself
both your CPU & GPU are weak and that's why the gameplay is slow.
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

I buyed this PC a month ago
I don't have money for a new CPU,GPU
And i cant play on my PS2
But,which one is gooder the GPU or the CPU?

I guess the CPU is ok for a few non-demanding games. (2D games or old 3D ones)
your GPU is a real problem, though...

Generally CPU for fps gain, GPU for non-native nad/or higher resolutions.
CPU: i9 20Ghz 40-core
GPU: GTX 129000 in Octo-SLI
RAM: 64GB DDREKT69
Monitor: 800x600 15" CRT

So whitch one is the biggest problem?
#7
for a game like crash bandicoot, i'd say both are big problems.
for low-end games like FFX, i'd still say the gpu. Even in native res, it'll slow your gameplay down .

Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

So i cant play crash bandicoot?...
but...if i buy pixel shader 3 video card?
#9
won't change a lot.

I guess you'd better keep playing it on your PS2 until you get a better PC.
