I read through this topic the following topic:

So going by that my computer should run games ok but the games are really slow....this is my first time using a emulator so its a bit confusing, am i doing something wrong? thank you.

My specs:
AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
AMD Phenom™ II X4 960T Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM

What FPS should i be getting with this system?

Will PCSX2 run fast on my computer? >>>> http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Will-PCSX...puter-copy

!Some heavy game require powerful GPU and CPU speed

Example Zone of the Ender , shadow of colossus , tekken so on..... !!!

Even so it's an AMD doesn't mean it's that bad for PCSX2 since the minimum requirements to run PCSX2 decently is a Quad Core @ 3.0 Ghz, now since the instruction set of the CPU decides more or less if it's fast enough for PCSX2 (Whereas AMD uses quite an old SSE still (Besides the Bulldozer that is)).

Now your system isn't that great for the more heavier games, like for example Zone of the Enders, Gran Turismo 4, Shadow of the Colossus and some other games, but for some other games they are, I could run the Xenosaga games roughly at 55-ish FPS on my old Dual Core (NTSC so 60 fps is 100%) and that was quite decent in my opinion. I would say trial and error for the games you have and see if you can get some decent speeds. Eitherway I do recommend you to use the MTVU hack since you have a CPU with more then 3 Cores, where most games run a bit more fluent.
