Okay well I downloaded imgburn 2.4.4 from the main website, and I used it for my godofwar2 game which was in my drive at the time, to test imgburn out, and what I did was i chose an option called create img file from disc which was the closest I though was write (screen shot attached to show the options it gave and what I chose) but it ended up giving me the exact same files that were on my disc, no changes at all. What did I do wrong or didn't do?

you DVD Decryptor, it has ALWAYS worked for me, especially for PS2 games.

It creates ISOs, copies them aswell

Hey man i'm dumb when it comes to the type of cdvd configuration that you use, but people keep telling me to use. I have a question, I downloaded a KHFM2 (Kingdom hearts final mix 2) iso version of the game and when I go to select my ISO from the KHFM2 folder on my desktop it shows three IMG files I have tried each one but they don't seem to work, can you help me with this? I have a screen shot of the folder and files within it.

You download the game ? .. If I not mistaken PCSX2 is not support piracy... I suggest topic close.

Maybe this was answered somewhere but I can't seem to find it. As I get closer towards the end of the game, my FPS starts to drop to about 40 FPS. Is there any way to fix this? By end of the game, I mean it only happens in a few places, such as tron's world, the world that never was, and twinkle town *endgame version*

Im using:

GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSSE3) 0.1.14
configured to
Windowed
Direct3D9(Hardware)
Pixel Shader 3.0
Blend bff (slight blue, 1/2 fps) *i have tried altering this for better performance*
AR 4:3
Texture Filtering black checked *tried turning off*
Logarithmic Z black checked *to see my HP*
Alpha Correction (FBA) black checked

My computer is running
Intel i7 920
Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT *i kno i need a better one -.-*
3 Gigs DDR3 2.67GHZ
Windows XP SP2
MSI M58X Motherboard

PLEASE if you know anything I can do to get the FPS back to 50 for regular gameplay, let me know.

your GPU definitely sucks. Update your plugins for PCSX2, newer versions will play KH2 much better

no, they are not Laugh r890 is almost 600 revisions behind. also, use gsdx with sse4.1, your cpu supports it.

Ok I tried installing GSdx 1495 and PCsx2 wont load the plugins for it.

Plugin load failure: plugins\GSdx-sse2.dll
SysLibError Message: <NULL>
Plugin load failure: plugins\GSdx-sse4.dll
SysLibError Message: <NULL>
Plugin load failure: plugins\GSdx-ssse3.dll
SysLibError Message: <NULL>

I tried other versions too and it kept happening. I searched for a little bit and couldn't find a fix/cause.

did you install both updates mentioned in the first post of the gsdx thread (this and this)?

Haha thanks. Ok so now the plugins are working but the FPS is still lower than it was earlier in the game. It improved slightly. Anything else I can do?

Settings:

Windowed
Direct3D9 (Hardware)
Blend bff
Aspect Ration 4:3
Texture filtering black checked
Logarithmic Z black checked
Alpha Correction black checked

Thanks for everything btw, and for being patient with me Laugh

"native" is checked in the gsdx settings? also try disabling the deinterlacing and run the game fullscreen. already checked the effect of speed hacks on this game? and what about switching to vista/win7 for the dx10 support? gsdx in dx10 mode is usually the fastest option.
