What settings?
You have both a slow CPU and Graphics card so there may not be much to do, for now try checking the "native" option in GSdx.

lol i have n vidia 8600 gt and core2duo e4400 2 Ghz and ff10 is going just fine, your graphic and cpu are better than mine so u should be able to play ff10 full speed, try enabling speed hacks and use the latest revision of pcsx2, i can even play xenosaga with fps from 40 to 60
oh yes and dont use gigahertz use linuz iso, convert your ffx disc in iso file and use that with linuz.
