NFL Street 2 runs very slow
#1
so when i load the game and in load screens it goes very fast up to 60 fps. but when i actually play the game for example pickup mode, it goes very slow and drops down to 20-30 fps which is unplayable

i have amd phenom™ ii x4 955 processor (4 cpus), ~3.2GHz
8 gb ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 TI graphics card
windows 7
newest pcsx2

ive also looked at youtube videos for ways to remove lag but it doesn't work. i am able to play games like dbz perfectly this is the only game i have trouble with.
any help would be greatly appreciated

you should have an "extra renderer threads" box you can tick & the bottom of gsdx options window.

adding 3 helped a little bit but it's still a little laggy

if i were to add like 30 would that mess anything up?

you could try, but i don't think it'll help since you have only 4 cores Tongue2

Hmm, could this be a CPU intensive game? I don't have these games anymore (no idea what happened to my old discs, lol) so I can't test them myself right now.

I guess all you can do is try overclocking your CPU or getting a new CPU altogether.
