only the final results testing it in games and futuremark benchmarks will tell. untill then let the fight begin in the classic match of nvidia vs ati \o/ (lol)

If iam not mistake dual gpu nvidia aka G104 is dual gpu fermi G465 slap in one pcb. Performance is not good as G480x2 so definitly not maching to figh with ATI HD5970.

nah gf102 is gtx465, gf104 will be gtx460, yeah i know it seems low but would they get in the trouble of making it if it would be bad? i dont know Tongue

double the card = double the looooollll heat. It was a problem in the 9800GX2, it was a major problem in the GTX295 and it was an even more major problem in that lol 2,000 dollar Mars.

Now a single 285 is already stupidly hot as it is they will release a dual card but it won't be that great. There going to release the 460 and 465 (the 460 will be like the last generation GTX 260) and like the GTX 295 it was 2x GTX260's super pumped on steroids so this time it will probably be 2x 460's overpumped and overheated.

Only problem this time is that back then the 295 was competing with the 4870x2 a single 260 beat the 4870 but this time round it won't be the case they are gonna pull something desperate which will trump the 5970 but I suspect the usual problems of overheating and probably soak up so much wattage it will be a joke not to mention 1,000 dollars anyone?
