im curious, is there any reason it needs to be a laptop? you could get a much better desktop for the same price, which will handle the emulator better than any laptop

I got the computer that I am using right now for only a year and a half and to me that's not really a long time, If I were to going to get a new desktop it would have to wait for a couple more months. So I'm just going to get a Laptop for one I'm going to college this coming January so I'm going to have to get one either how. I might as well get a really good one like the 1099.99 one since it has the graphic card in handling the emulator at the fullest. Along with that I'm getting an external hard drive of 200gb to put the games in and out of the laptop.

In your opinion would you say an NVIDIA GT 120M 1GB DDR 2 VIDEO CARD is good enough?

its weak, 130 is like a 9650 so 120 might be a 9400 and it has ddr2 so its sucks even more.

The specification of P8700 makes no differences with my E7200 in CPU speed. I can tell the CPU is not sufficient for PCSX2 since you can't overclock.

The supreme C2D mobile I found is T9900 3.06Ghz by now. I've no idea how expensive a laptop would be with that.

haven't seen on the market probably will go sky high since its new and intel, the max speed till recently was always 2.66Ghz so P8700 is the 2º best cpu in laptop market.

However, it's adequate to 2D games. Some of 3D games will slow down, e.g. Shin Sangoku Musou 4 and 5 Sp, Dragon Quest 8.

I didn't get it yet because I'm still thinking that there is still time by the end of the summer and they will probably get a better laptop on sale.

Search for a better shop online, that seems to suck it even worse than most laptop on ebay from canada.

Concede that market is dominating, perhaps P8700 is fair enough for Laptop concerned activities. cuz Laptop is not intended for playing games at all in the first place. That's why Laptop is not suitable and proper not recommended for PCSX2 as I can understand.
