Need help badly....
#1
I am running an AMD A10-5800K at 3.8Ghz with 8Gb of DDR3 1600 ram (and integrated Radeon HD7660D graphics processor and no matter what I try, or how I try to configure, whether running from the original disc or as an iso I cant seem to get the games to run even remotely proper. This should be plenty powerful enough to pull off the job but the games and the FMV are always VERY choppy and slow (the FMV I expect, but the games themselves has me stumped). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.....
Current Specs......AMD A10-5800K @ 3.8Ghz, EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB SC, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600Mhz, 250GB WD (Old but still works) , 3TB WD Barracuda, Apevia 500Watt P.S., Lite On Ihes112-04 BD-ROM, Toshiba 24' 1080P LED TV

GPU is very weak. Use software mode in gsdx settings.

Try using some speedhack, in particular MTVU because it allow to use a third core.

That's not true, in terms of raw power it should be just a little weaker than my old HD4830, powerfull enough to play in native resolution.

Don't know where you get that from. Most powerful integrated GPU EVER made.

@OP Try setting EE cycle rate slider to 1, and enabling the MTVU hack. Also try playing around with the VU cycle stealing slider.

Also, if you have the cooling, you could try overclocking the CPU to 4.2-4.4Ghz.

RAM faster than 1600 is going to noticeably help the GPU, too.

Is the A10-5800K a Bulldozer or Piledriver?

Nonetheless, 3.8 Ghz is enough for most games. The GPU is pretty good as well - I have used some AMD integrated GPUs so I know. What game are you playing exactly?

PCSX2-5413.......I have taken some of the advice from the others and it has helped some. I am going to most likely invest in a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7850 in the next few weeks so hopefully this will do the trick.

I have been going through my whole collection but the ones I have been testing most are Fantavision, Kingdom Hearts 1, Ace Combat 4, and Macross.

These adjustments help immensely with Fantavision and a few other games, Im hoping with a strong dedicated VC (the one I do have is just to weak thats why I have been letting the APU do the work) that the problem will be resolved but that is not for a few weeks.

you should use directx10 or 11 hardware mode in the graphics plugin config for better performance
