Need help with Scarface Video problems.
#1
Hey guys. I'm trying to play Scarface on Pcsx2 but it looks absolutely terrible and is totally unplayable. The screen is all scrambled and the colours all messed up.

That is on PCSX2 version 1.2.0 r5859

So I downloaded the lastest SVN or whatever it's called now and it's a lot better. I can actually see the character and the world and the text is readable. Unfortunately it crashes shortly in game.

I've tried software mode which gives the whole screen a pink tint but doesn't stop the crashes.

I've tried turning off all speed hacks.

I've tries messing with clamping modes too.

Hardware mode looks good it's just the game keeps crashing.

It just says PCSX2 has stopped working.

The guy who apparently tested it says it works fine and gives no special settings to try.

That 1.0.0 Japanese BIOS is know to have some issues with pcsx2. I'm guessing that's the culprit here.

Mmm okay.

Are you sure the bios could affect the whole game so badly?

My friend has tried with a USA bios 2.2.0 I think. He says the game looks fine but he doesn't even get past the first room.

I don't understand because it's marked as playable?
