see your error and check what it is and how to solve it
OK so your code is -612
so you need to
double-check your network connection and/or network configuration.
have you done that

Yea. I did a connection test and it was successful. Im positive that there would be a DNAS problem even though everything is setup correctly.

Edit

I just read this http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-How-To-Pl...dnas+error

I am confused on parts 2 &3. I just find my dnas code and then patch it right? That will get me through the dnas error 612?

Edit Edit

I did all the steps above usuing the shortcut you found and I patched the game iso and i tried to log on again, it still gave me error -612.

EDIT EDIT EDIT

Ok after some tinkering, I managed to get it working!!! But when i joined a game, i dropped from 61 fps to 14 and game was pretty much unplayable. Any tips on how to increase fps. not looking for quality but performance.

Out of curiosity what exactly let you apply settings? Was it running as admin or the plugin?

For some speedup you can try the latest GSdx build, it has some hackfixes for that game:

I was in admin. Im surprised it lagged though cause i got a i5 @3.4 ghz with a 512mb gt9800. 8 gb ram.

Would the gfx card be hindering the performance?

Yes, the game uses a huge amount of VRam which your 9800GT cannot handle, playing it in software mode would have been faster in your case. The latest builds have a hackfix for it in hardware mode but software mode will still be the most compatible.

I tried playing in software mode and the pcsx2 crashes.

As I said, try with the latest build, there's some hackfixes in it for that game.
