I try Fight Night Round 2, God of War 1 and 2, all three run slow.

You can try switching ON "allow 8-bit textures" in GSdx config as GTS250 doesn't really have much of memory bandwidth soo it will potentially help in some games dunno about the other two(it can as well kill fps even more), but at least in GoW2 that should help as on similar gpu stats it change my fps from a crappy 25 to PAL full speed - 50(but you'll probably also need MTVU speedhack for that one;P).

Also "game looks like garbage", unless said about graphical glitches is simply a feature of original PS2;P, you probably can't get any higher internal res with this GPU of yours at least not on such graphically demanding games, soo be happy with the superb original 10 yo console looks and have some nostalgia to keep sane with it lol ;3.

I OC my CPU to 3.6 GHz and Fight Night Round 2 is still slow on some arenas (i.e, county fairgrounds).

And yes, the game looks like garbage for the many graphical glitches visible...

This Fight Night game looks busted. Try to fix your speed issues with one that works better.

This is true, But even then, he is at 3.6ghz and only getting 11fps? Something isn't right. Granted i never tried fight night, but i get 60FPS in all games i try (rogue galaxy and SOTET being the most demanding i play to my knowledge) and i have a 3.8ghz phenom II, which i know the i7 is better then.

Could you try another game you have in your collection? Or for that matter, could you try redumping your iso with imgburn?
Intel Core i7-8700k @5ghz
G.Skill 16GB DDR4 @3600mhz
GeForce GTX 1080 8GB

I was playing MGS3 and it runs quite well, 60 FPS at most time and with occasionals drops here and there. After the overclock GOW runs almost perfect.

Only Night Fight Round 2 is running like *****. I'm gonna find a new disk and re try. It's absurd that I can play MGS3 but not FNR2...

Ok, after redumping the NFR2 disc I got the same speed and graphical issues so I download one I found in a torrent and it's the same.

I think this games is broken in PCSX2...
