There is a noticeable difference at the same clock speeds. The real debate is whether the price is worth the small to moderate performance increase.

too be honest, if i would buy such powerfull pc i would not do this just for pcsx2 ~~
my current 3,5 c2d is not bad at all, only shame my piece dont overclock well so i could have even more. just for pcsx2 i wuold maybe go for e7400/7500, e8400 is way to expensive in my opinion ,,,
