New ram, can I use it?

I have 630i/7100

I reciently got

can I use this memory with my current motherboard? (i.e. will it support it?)

i will help since your a long term forum user, no it wont since your mobo is DDR2, and the ram you linked is DDR3, a different socket entirely

I honestly did not know. like PCI-e x16 v1/2/3 works I did not know if ram was the same way. I was not being lazy, I was unsure and asking for help.

Just like when my brother had his bios issue, I came and asked for help, it is something I did not know, and thus I brought it to people who would. Do NOT call me lazy, I am FAR from lazy

the real lazy or stupid you are @squall speaking about speed and sh*t. you should know that ddr3 ram doesn't even fit into a ddr2 slot. this is the basic HARDWARE problem where the topic was already closed. Wink
