Not so much a bug, but a feature that was removed.

Sounds good! I'll give it a try later when I'm home. Thanks for the work on it

Oh and I'm not sure what you meant with the title of some windows things..
Maybe I meant something different, I've been looking at my previous posts but can't really find it. Whatever issue I had was really only the cheats not being mentioned, which should be changed now in this latest build.

Ok tested this new build. Looks good, except that it now also displays every single code lol. Not exactly what I suggested to be returned..

^This is what it shows now. But there's no need for the actual patch=1,EE, lines is there? Just the fact that it says xx cheats has been loaded is more than enough. Which is what I suggested to be returned in the first place, and how it's always been for MANY revisions. :/

So again, here's what it should be showing:

There's no "should" be showing. It shows what we want it to show.

And right now it shows every kind of patch which it applies - once on boot.

This is fine.

Why would you want it to show -every- patch line though. It's been fine as it was for over 5000 revisions and you suddenly decide to change it entirely? I don't see how -this- is fine. It was fine before you implemented the whole change in the first place. (aka before 1.3.0-883)

Like Blyss said, you can EASILY reach 100+ lines of code. This is silly.

The console shows hundreds on line regardless of the patches.

Showing all the patches once on boot adds important information which helps debugging logs from users.

I actually like that....
One can easily see if somebody uses wrong(bad converted) cheats. One can see if people use all item cheats in the beginning and are stuck in the story.... One can see if somebody applied the 60fps hack...
And scrolling 100 entries takes some seconds.

Unfortunately it doesn't show the comments of the pnach files but only the applied codes...

Hmm. I'm not arguing that it could be useful, although I still thing it's a bit spammy. Maybe a way to enable disable? Verbose logging?

and if someone just pastes all of the text in the emulog here an entire page will be used up

Exactly, there's no way to distinguish the codes, because they're all just mass-placed without any code comments. So this is not exactly helpful for debugging, you'd still have to dig around the web yourself to figure out what code was being used, and you'd still need to know how many lines that particular code is as well, because that's not distinguishable either.

I like Blyss' idea as well. Just make an Enable/Disable option where it shows the exact codes in the console/emulog if enabled, or else just make it show the 'total amount' loaded instead like it used to be when it's disabled. (Shown in previous examples).

Fact still remains though; nothing was wrong with the old system, there was no reason to change it. All you had to do was make it so it didn't 'spam' the console, rather than remove it as a whole.
