Notebook fit the recommended hardware requirements for pcsx2
#1
The recommended hardware requirements for pcsx2 can be witnessed on PCSX2's Google code.
Quote:CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2ghz or better
GPU: 8800gt or better (for Direct3D10 support)

AFAIK no CPUs meet the requirements, but T9900 at 3.06 GHz fit it most.

I'm not going to buy a Notebook, just wondering how expensive a Notebook that has T9900 and a Video Card equivalent to 8800GT.
durable PC since 2008
CPU : E7200 @ 2.53 GHz 1.04 V / OC 3.7 GHz 1.36 V (390*9.5, 4GB DDR2 780)
GPU : 8600GT (GDDR3, 256 MB) / OC (750 / 900)
BOARD : GA-EP31-DS3L (rev 1.0) broken and bought a second hand one replaced
PSU : 300 W
OS : Windows 7 Home Basic x86

i7 mobile cpu's are faster than core2duo at the same clock
a 720QM (can overclock 2 cores to 2.4ghz in turbo) will be very near the performence of the T9900

But look at this thread Thread-Which-of-the-3-processors-would-run-PCSX2-the-best. Among E8400 3.0GHz, E8500 3.16GHz, i7-860 2.8GHz, Air said

However, I dunno if the comparison will be different in Mobile Processors.

The key phrase is this : "If not overclocking".

AFAIK, all that matters in PCSX2 is the raw processing power; thread-count be damned, and I believe SSSE3 and SSE4 support doesn't differentiate by much.
Intel C2D E6550 2.33GHz (OC@2.8GHz)
Corsair CM2X1024 4GB (4x1GB) DDR2 DRAM
ASUS P5K
XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB

Running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

I know what you mean. I saw when recently buying a laptop online, anything with a T9900 AND a good graphics card (for PCSX2, that is Smile) was easily over $1000 and usually around the $1500 range. If there is anything better, it'd be an X9100 or maybe a top-shelf Core i or something. At that rate, you'd better not be too concerned with the price.

Sorry, but here on the internet I saw this, I turned it perfectly Wacko. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYXSyss43qs .......
so it should be fine: D .. to me a couple of people said they will start without any problems: D I do not know then maybe you'll be wrong? if you want to send you a test with a i5

2.30Ghz Intel i5 2410M
GeForce 315M
4Gb Ram
Win7 64bit
here is screen http://s8.postimage.org/5amz23jcz/Immagine3d_soft.jpg (D3D 10 (Software)
(Ok, runs between 55 and goes a long 60fps.La cpu stress)
http://s8.postimage.org/tttlx5d4z/Immagined3d_nat.jpg (D3D 10 (Hardware) Native)
(Not good, runs between 31 and 36fps.la cpu is a bit strained but not your graphics card is the limit)

Disastro . Gira sotto i 10fps . La scheda video è al suo limite fisico

I'd say 1g is all thats needed.
2720qm would play pcsx2 nicely runs at up to 3.2 ghz on two cores
check actual builder sites such as sager ;p
