Out of Memory?
#1
Yoho folks : )
I've got the following error when trying to load my disc image.
Do I need more memory to run this?
I have an iMac G5 IGb ram

Code:
Loading from a file (or non-cd image)
loadElfFile: 1459978240
pcsx2(17028,0xa0036500) malloc: *** mmap(size=1459978240) failed (error code=12)
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Exception::OutOfMemory'
Out of memory!pcsx2.sh: line 2: 17028 Abort trap              ./pcsx2

Thanks for the reply the bios runs fine. I can get to the point where it says Please Insert Disk, but fails when I try games.

Judging by the message "Loading from a file (or non-cd image)" are you sure your image is ok?

this doesnt look right,it says "Loading from a file (or non-cd image)"
normally it would indicate the SLES and CD/DVD Layer + block sizes and region(if thats in Mac's case Tongue). In your case it loads nothing..zedr0n has a point..something is wrong with your image file
I'm inactive on this, dedicating most of my time to osu!
