Hi all,

I am playing Dark Cloud on PCSX2. Everything seems to be working fine, I understand most of the configs but for some reason it crashes randomly in game. I only have 1 save state and I only have it cause it tends to crash alot and i lose all the work i did lol. This is the whole message I get when it crashes:

what if you use memcard instead of savestate ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

If what jesalvein said does not help:

If you are using an older version updating to the newest git could help. pcsx2 is a 32-bit app and can only allocate 2GB - even if you have 8. In newest revisions a compile flag is set that allows to allocate 3GB. This could solve your issue or increases the time between crashes.

I think it's 3GB for 32 bit and 4 GB for 64 bit Operating systems.
