PC crashes while playing a game with PCSX2
#1
Hi,

every time I play a game with PCSX2 (Rev. 5136 and 4600) my PC crashes with a Bluescreen (Bad poolheader,...) or PCSX2 just gives me a "PCSX stopped working".

The problem occours with "Shadow Hearts 2 Covenant, Dragon Quest 8, and Kingdom Hearts" (all games tested so far)

My Specs:
Windows 7 and Windows 8 CP (both)
Nvidia GTX 260
4Gb Ram
AMD 9650OC (4x 2,46Ghz)

PCSX2 Settings:
Graphics: GSDX 5135 Pic
Audio: SPU2-X - everything standart
Other: Pic

Thanks in advance

files are always described in the mini and kernel dumps.

Bad pool headers are faulty drivers or corrupt ram.

I've looked in the eventlog of windows. Here's the code (App crash, not windows. Interesting is, that the pc only crashes if I play in fullscreen)

(I think this the code if the PC crashes)

My PC is in german so the above too. Tongue But it seems, that the graphicsplugin is the problem.

The eventlog is literally full of this here:
taskhost (2380) The database cache size maintenance task has taken 60 seconds without completing. This may result in severe performance degradation. Current cache size is 1 buffers above the configured cache limit (104 percent of target). Cache size maintenance evicted 0 buffers, made 5853 flush attempts, and successfully flushed 0 buffers. It has run 325454 times since maintenance was triggered.

Nvidia Driver:
Win8: 296.17 (Win8 exclusive)
Win7: 295.73

yeah, that error is useless to me because a non kernel file causing a bsod is impossible.

pm me a skydrive or mediafire link to one of the minidumps and i'll run it through windbg
