what do you use to load the game? (run cd/dvd or execute) also what plugins are you using?

If i use run CD/DVD then, it becomes the black screen. If i use execute, the emulator runs and does the whole PS2 shiney glowy light wee thing, but just sticks me at the browser/configuration bit.

My plugins are:

are these even the plugins that ur asking for :x. cos theres that set plugin thing. And found plugins already inside the file package. do u want me to list those out?

well pretty much what is shown in config->configure

maybe you have corrupt iso, try re-ripping it

im trying to play Castlevania Curse of darkness via the Linuz ISO CDVD 0.8.0 and it gets past the initial load with like 40-60 fps but its a black screen... i kno its not a bad iso because i can play the game via mounting it and using Gigahert'z CDVD plugin 0.7.0 but it runs horribly slow...what can i do to either speed up the fps or fix the Black screen while using Linuz ISO

Let me guess. You have an ISO image and you are mounting it with daemon tools. DONT. That's why we have the Linuz ISO plugin, to read images directly.
