Yeah, I simply stopped doing that "Esc" part once it started happening and well it's not a biggie anyway, think it was causing some small issue somewhere else so meh it's ok this way Tongue2

Does PCSX2 0.9.8 support more than 2 threads now? (meaning it will use all 4 threads given to you by a Core 2 Quad) or is still only able to use 2 cores?)

I know this emulator is very taxing so being able to use all cores allocated to it would help a lot.

It can use 3 threads now (EE/GS/UI), if you use a (software) renderer in GSdx you should be able to max the thread use.

Hm... That is good. Although it would be better to use 4, 3 is better than 2 Laugh Now then lets see if ZOE 2 can run better than it did before. Before it ran...but due to bad frame rates it was not very playable...

The third thread is mainly for stability, it should give an unnoticeable only speed boost. Making the program use more than 2 threads is extremely complex and would require a total rewrite of the emulator, which would take like 1-2 years and in the end you would be looking at tops 25% speed increase (with possible compatibility hits as well)

Thx A BUNCH for another great release!

I've been following PCSX's progress since it's early stages and I've got to
say that the emu has come a long way. Awesome work guys, keep it up!

PS: I can now play GT 3 with 0 problems and crystal clear gfx on my
computer monitor. What can I say? I just can't thank u enough for this!

Wow, thanks for the release. I've waited long enough since 0.9.7.
