PCSX2 Cheat Question

I downloaded a cheat pnach file from here, one that matches my CRC and the region. Put it into my cheats folder, made sure it was pnach by un checking hide extensions, enabled cheats on the menu and they are still not working. It says 0 cheats enabled ):

Did you check the "enable cheats" in pcsx2(System->enable cheats)?
If so, can I see the pnach file you downloaded if possible.

Weird. Also please post the emulog.txt jesalvein asked. It's found in your pcsx2 log folder.

While you're at it, try making the pnach yourself. Copy and paste it in another notepad and save it yourself.

i am not sure but normally 'byte' is not used as datatype...

Can you change all 'byte' to 'extended' to check if it works?

And better to delete that zerogs-patch

The pnach you linked looked just strange to me but I am no expert.
First there is a zeroGS-patch which is probably unneeded since you don't use this plugin:

Just delete the code (comment and next line) or comment the patch using '//'.
Second the datatype is set to be 'byte' (the third part in the code). I have always thought that you need 'extended' in 99% of games. So that the code will have the form:
//patch=1,EE,XXXXXXXX,extended,XXXXXXXX
But looking into the savegame-thread tells me that there are some games with cheats using something different than extended. Nevertheless I would try to replace the byte.

Is the pnach-file in the right (cheats-)folder? Are you sure that the file is BB3D833A.pnach and not BB3D833A.pnach.txt?
Can you double-check that not only 'automatic gamefixes' or if used 'widescreen patches' but really 'cheats' is activated?

I just tried the levels and gil first and that didn't seem to work

And its in the cheats folder I created, not cheats_ws and yes its pnach. automatic game fixes and cheats is enabled but not widescreen patches ;/
