i downloaded pcsx2 playground frm pcsx2.net. when i try to launch a game with peops cd/dvd plugin the emulator crahes..............any fixes 4 dat?

im having a issue with pcsx2 emu its self, like when i play frequency or any other game, I mean the games that i have all work fine its just the when playing a certain ps2 game the pcsx2 its self crashes automatically when configuring or changing speed hacks, can somebody help me please, I was play frequency with no problems and now all my retail games i have are now running way to slow. please help thank you
