But I still have 50 fps so I don't know what might be the case.

Go to the plugin section and download latest plugin versions, i play the PAL version on 1500x1500 internal resolution and sound and speed is perfect no bugs.

Download SPU2-X sound plugin, its almost perfect sound and update graphic plugin in GSdx section

after you do, use the latest beta PCSX version for full speed and no bugs

BTW Do you have better performance under x64 system? 3,2 -> 8 gb ram gives you something? I have Windows 7, might as well download the x64 bit ver. just to check it out (since it's free and more stable then Vista imo), but I'm not sure If it's actualy worth it just now Tongue

there are no plans for any x64 improvements of pcsx2, the amount of work for such a complete rebuild of the emulator wouldn't be worth it. and even 2gb ram are enough for full speed emulation with pcsx2, so no real advantage in using the x64 version of windows here. but on the other side it works without any problems, so i have no reason to not use it under vista64. and even if any incomaptibilities would arise, my winxp32 is just one reboot away Wink

Actually there are no different while run PCSX2 under 64-bits system and 32-bit system why ???
Ans: The pcsx2 is codded under 32-bit bus. Under 64-bit window it will run the program with 32-bit bus not 64-bit bus.

I have Window Vista Ultimate Sp2 (x64) give me no problem at all with PCSX2. Almost all game run flawless if the PCSX2 compatible to that game.

the x64 vs. x86 is more a thing of the cpu and os not just a "bus". a bus is a number of data lanes between two computer components, hence a 32bit bus has got 32 and a 64bit bus got 64. the differences between the x86 and the x64 architecture go far beyond that. there is no 64bit bus in vista64 which is only used at half its potential when executing x86 apps.

Aah, you got to be kidding me!

I just beated Anima and "Seamour" for the first time in the icy temple, but the game crashes again.
Tried "Crusader_bin's" method but the game crashing anyway.

Tried "Null Graphics" and "No Sound" but it crashes...
Should i try some beta drivers?
If yes, where can i find them? (link)

do you really mean beta drivers for your hardware? cause i seriously doubt they would help at all. if you mean beta revisions of pcsx2 and plugins:

Hey guys,

I have a problem with FFX and pcsx2 hanging when sin starts to attack SS Liki. I'm using ver 1329 of pcsx2, Gsdx 1372 SSSE3 0.1.15 which are latest as of today.

My config is M1710, C2D 2ghz, 256mb 7900gs, 3GB ram. FFX is NTSC.

I know its not the best but till here I have been able to play fairly smooth using the speed hacks etc. I did try it without any speed hack but it hangs at the exact same point.

Here is a pic of it: http://i39.tinypic.com/33eli0k.jpg

Also i tried to use the savestate method described above but my pcsx2 crashes whenever I press F1.

Try changing the pcsx2 advanced options (round mode specially), try making/remaking a iso from the game and run it from there, try running it from the disc maybe.

After the sin hits the boat there is 2 video scenes that are totally garbled up unless I change to DX plugin instead of ZeroGS, so id image that your problem is with those cut-scenes and some video plugin combination. How about using the GSdx with only the SSE2?

I got through the Djose temple problem quite easily today with the new plugins (09 July 2009). Extract them. Copy them into your plugins folder. Reset your plugins directory to pick them up. For the graphical plugin, change to GSdx 1479 (MSVC 15.00, SSE41) 0.1.15, then I set Direct3D9 (Hardware), aspect ratio 4:3, and only check the following: "Logarithmic Z" | "Allow 8-bit textures" | "Alpha Correction (FBA)".

I'll admit I havent looked into this thoroughly, but as soon as I changed my settings to that one.. the graphic corruption appeared but my pc was able to 'hack' its way through then the game carries on just fine. (until the next crash I suppose) .. then I'll have to change back to the above setting as I will only use it when things start to crash.
