PCSX2 Slower speed and white lines in my screen, help!

For gsdx hardware mode and burnout 3 you have to enable gsdx hacks in it's INI setting file, then set skipdraw to something other than 0. (For me I had to set it to 3 or 4, others have had success with 1 or 2)

Yes. Still existing....also i just noticed that in hardware mode the speed is slower but doesnt affect sounds.

is your sound plugin set to "async mix" mode? if yes, then the sound output will always run at 100% speed, but it will get out of snyc if the main emulation drops below 100%. you can set it into "timestretching" mode, but beware, slowed down sound output may sound awful Wink

did you try extradesserts recommendation? any luck with the gsdx skipdraw setting?

extradessert is the nickname of the user that mentioned the gsdx hacks Wink

have a look at his post:

you can find the gsdx.ini in the ini subfolder, haven't used this feature myself before, afaik it should look like this (someone correct me if i'm wrong):

Code:
[Settings]
...
UserHacks=1
SkipDraw=x

try different numbers for x, 1-4 might help with this game, but it's a hack, don't be surprised if it makes things even worse Laugh

Unfortunately, now hardware mode acts exactly like software. Slow speed and black sky with not white lines. I am really confused.

well, iirc the gsdx plugin author gabest once stated that the hardware accelerated mode of the gsdx plugin is technically a speed hack itself, as it sacrifices compatibility for speed. some games just don't seem to like hardware mode, perhaps further developement of pcsx2 will change that in the future. probably nothing you can do about it at the moment.

Oh wait...I can see some fixes. Sky appeared, no white lines and the speed is USUALLY great Smile
However, in every case, problem and fix, I can't hear the sound of my car...That's nto really a problem but if you know how to fix that, I will be happy to hear it!
