I recently updated to the newest nightly version of PCSX2 (v1.7.4967) and now certain games will give me the error "failed to create render device. This may be due to your GPU got supporting the chosen renderer (Vulkan) or because your graphics driver needs to be updated."

This has not happened with previous versions of PCSX2. Also, my GPU (AMD Radeon R7) has Vulkan and is fully updated. Not sure why this is happening. Switching to Direct 3D 12 makes the games work though.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

The Vulkan renderer now requires VK_KHR_push_descriptor, which your driver doesn't support. It appears AMD no longer supports your GPU, so you can either try a 3rd party driver like NimeZ, use Linux, or use PCSX2 v1.7.4886, which is the last version that doesn't require push descriptors.
