Anyone able to make a widescreen code for the Warriors Orochi 2 NTSC version? It seems this game is not in the emulators database at all, all it says in the title bar is [SLUS-21803] The game plays fine too, I assume its just the pal version converted to ntsc.

Just use the widescreen helper, it's pretty easy

Have tried with Blood Omen 2 NTSC, but not much luck yet. Problem is that using the Widescreen Helper with BO2 tends to freeze/crash the game fairly quickly, at almost any searched value. So this will have to be a tedious Cheat Engine only search if i hope to find anything at all. Who knows, maybe nemesis2000 will come to the rescue. He did do Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance. Im guessing that SR2 and BO2 use the same engine more or less.

You should try elf patching with some of the values nemesis found. I patched like 5 games with just the HG hack, and about 5 more using variations of xx3F0x3C

*Note - I edited the ISO file itself, not the extracted ELF.

*Note 2 - The messed up textures are the result of the pcsx2 hardware GSDX not supporting mipmaps. Looks fine in Software mode (Insert key to toggles mipmaps in software).

*Note 3 - It would appear that the Page Up key toggles FXAA in pcsx2 (GSDX Software and Hardware), a nice find ^^

@Synce With using the values that nemesis found, you said that it works for some other games also, and I have a few questions.

1.) You changed the value from xx3f0x3c into different a different one, what exactly do you change them to? Do you just guess or do they have pattern or something...?

2.) Once you find the value, what exactly do you change the values to for widescreen?

I have absolutely no knowledge of any elf hacks, I just use nemesis'... Tongue
