It has widescreen for the 3d elements, am not sure how stretch the overlay in the bike shop

I obtain only WS mode on menu. Entire game still the same. I dont know if i'm doing something wrong but i dont think so.

The second one is slightly different coz the position.

I've ported it to NTSCU but it seems as useless as the PAL one.

And another request: Motorstorm Artic Edge. PAL version (SCES-55573) could be cool but NTSCU version (SCUS-97654) is OK.

Yes, I made a complete fail of that patch. I think I was concentrating too much on trying to fix the Bike Shop, and failed to realise that only the player select menu was in widescreen, and not the actual game. Sorry 'bout that. Blush
I tried again to find the in game address, but no luck... so to sum up, the Downhill Domination pnach is not working.

Its ok. Lets see if someone can find the right address of ingame fov.

This game is blast, one of the best 4-players splitscreen on PS2.

Here it goes... Smile.

Btw I'll probably be editing this post later today with comparison screenshots, an overview of known issues, etc.

Thanks! i will test it right now.

Edit: Working great. Just a few errors on menu and the HUD shadow out of place. Not big deal.

Widescreen needs to be selected from the ingame menu, otherwise it is a zoomed out 4:3 screen.

The clones are in every ELF, but I don't know why.
To have clone-patches seems to be optional: they aren't needed,
however I guess it increases the probability for stability with the hacks.

I can confirm the issues posted here when using 2xxxxxxx addresses.

Your new patches are incomprehendable to me, so I can't make True 16:10 for them (with Y-axis & Zoom patches).
I added the "True (but unreliable)" patches mostly for people to try out (if they wish).

Added "Fast boot recommended" in comment for the SC1-4 "True (but unreliable)" alternatives
(although SC1 is OK regardless of language settings, and SC2-4 is OK with English, on full boot).
For the record: games with a language selection of their own (like "Project Zero 3" & "Slinter Cell 1")
are less likely to have a problem with 2xxxxxxx addresses, non-english settings and full boot.

Ops - thanx for that (corrected).

Finally, I've made yet another PZ3 pnach, this time with the 2xxxxxxx addresses ported to 003xxxxx.
@devina40: If you please.
