PCSX2 crashes at startup
#1
Hello everyone,
sorry to bother you, but I couldn't fix this problem by myself. My specs: i7 4770K - GTX 670 - 8 GB RAM - WIN10.
PCSX crashes always at startup, black screen and the Windows error. I tried changing Audio plugin, using different version of the program, both stable and daily build, but with no results. I don't know what to do anymore. Last log:

You could try deleting your PCSX2 settings out of your "My Documents" folder to see if that makes a difference. Make sure you backup your bios first if you have it stored there.

What does the windows error say?

I did delete my settings at every reinstall. But with no luck. The Windows error is the classic "pcsx2.exe stopped working"

I have win10 so I should already have the latest version of directx. I checked with dxdiag and I have directx12

In dxdiag I can only see "DirectX 12". Where can I find more information about the version?

Well, I solved it. Now it works fine, but I had to install DirectX 9 and I have to admit it was kinda logical, as pcsx2 coders probably couldn't include a way to use the last DirectX update yet. So, surely I'm a beginner as I have so many things to learn but "pros" should first of all check what they say (I couldn't find anywhere on the internet about different versions of DirectX 12. DirectX 12 is included in Windows 10 and there aren't any new versions for now, at least for consumers). Moreover I think forums don't need posts like "you are a beginner", "you don't know" and this kind of things. Forums exist to help people, not to insult/looking down on them. Finally I want to thank you all, thanks to your help I could solve my problem.
