PCSX2 doesn't launch

Hi! I'm brand new to this program and these forums. I recently wanted to play Persona 4 on my pc and was recommended pcsx2. So I downloaded it without a problem, except now when I try to open it I get this message: "the procedure entry point _except 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\pcsx2-r5875.exe." I tried reinstalling it but I always get this message... Any help would really be appreciated, especially for a non computer-savvy person like me! Thanks in advance
