PCSX2 have some slowdowns
#1
Hello,
I´m using PCSX2.1.2.1 on my Laptop. I´m bought my laptop last month and hoping I get the same experience as, if I get on my desktop. Well, I get it kinda. It runs the games most of the time with 55-60 fps but it really have sometimes some slowdowns. It get from 55-60 to 45 or below. The sounds and everything becomes slow and sounds terrible. All setting from my specs, setting and emulog are in the description below.

what are the EE and GS values during slowdown ? also, post a screenshot of your GSdx plugin settings and speedhacks section settings. also, makes sure to post the content of your emulog. btw, your second link is inaccessible for me.

1. How can I make a screenshot of EE and GS during slowdown?
2. What is GSdx and where can I find it and I don´t use gamefixes

1) don't need to make a screenshot of the EE and GS values during slowdowns, just note the values and report back. Wink

2) It is the video plugin settings. also, make sure to post the speedhacks section at Emulation settings.

3)Thanks. the laptop processor will be fine. make sure to also set Windows performance plan to high in control panel and play the game while plugging in.

Sorry I made 3. Screenshot. 2&3 show really good how big the slowdown is. EE 99-79 to 45%. GS 19 to 49%. But can I play the games without plugged in? The idea behind it was to play games, while I´m on the go.

you can play while the laptop is not plugged in but, you will get slow performance. probably it's a CPU bottleneck taking a look at your EE values. you still didn't provide the speedhacks section settings. you should click Plugin Einstullengen and post the screenshot of that. for speedhacks settings, click the speedhacks in the top right and post it's screenshot.

Enable mtvu hack and increase the EE and vu slider by one value add try again.

Try setting windows performance plan to high and play your laptop while plugging in. If it still doesn't work then, you should try considering a upgrade.
