PCSX2 not responding after i try to load up a game

So for 2 days now, my emulator stops responding when i try to load up a game, i can access the settings and all that no problem, it freezes once i try to click on a game, I updated to MacOS Ventura recently, i don't know if the problem has to do with that, but besides that i'm clueless, any help is appreciated
