PCSX2 speed increase

I hope this is in the right post. This is my first thread, so bear with me.

I am trying to speed up pcsx2 0.9.7 beta. I am trying to get kingdom hearts 2 to run full speed, but in graphically intensive areas, it is ranging from 45 to 57 fps. in most areas where u just run around i get about 70 fps. here are my specs.

Intel core 2 duo P7450 CPU 2.13 Gigahertz
3 Gigs DDR3 RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4530 Grapghics card

here is my configuration.

gsdx plugin 3068 0.1.16 sse4
native resolution ticked
no interlacing
iso image to play games
spu2 sound plugin with sound processing disabled for a speedup
all speed hacks except iopx2 cycle rate and vu cycle stealing and emotion engine cycle rate are enabled ( i found in my experiments that it runs faster with ee cycle rate and vu cyle stealing at default)

supervu legacy on both vu o and vu1

both clamp modes set to none
round modes are chop/zero
patches enabled

also, in an attempt to speed up performance, i set the powerplan to "set up for best performance", to turn off aero, but when i booted up kingdom hearts 2 , at the opening cutscene, it slowed to about 47 fps, instead of near full speed like it was with aero on. Also, cpu usage was 99%. has anyone had this problem? is aero required to run pcsx2 effectively? Any help woul be greatly appreciated.

You can overclock your processor and you'll gain for sure more speed

On a laptop? i would advise against it, you can try if you're feeling adventurous. That speed is actually pretty good for that cpu so there's not much more you can do...
