Yep, a person cannot be banned fully but even the last bully will eventually cease to make damage.

I like the idea of a wiki that we can update.

If someone adds BS just edit it....

Okami - minimum sys. requirements - recommended sys - known problems - Speed up 101 (options to make the game playable on the min sys) etc.

I like it. I'd be glad to help moderate.

As I can see this doesn't interest the adm. staff too much so I can go forward with it myself or just drop it. I'd choose the former. Gimme a number of days to study wiki markup and I'll come up with something and announce it here. And if it's destined to fail so be it, at least I've tried...

Look, we already have a crapload of things to do. I'm managing the site, doing php corrections, maintaining the forums, adding plugins, moderating the forums and testing the program. I'm already overburdened and making a wiki for users is the least of my worries. Other team members are actively coding the emulator or testing, so they also have more important things to do.
If you want to do it, go ahead but do understand we are already using up all our free time to maintain all this.

Yes, I do understand perfectly that you're all busy. But it's not your time that I'm asking for, I'm asking for your hm... moral support maybe. I can (and possible will try to) go for it alone or with other volunteers (all wikis are volunteers driven after all) but without the officials saying something like "here's yet another link for unofficial PCSX2 related stuff, try it out" it will be kind of worthless. So it's not about your time but about the recognition of a result (if there will be one).

It can be done by using templates. You will critique the result if it will ever show up. The criticism is also very usefull.

And for now I'm trying not to be late for work...

Well it WILL be marked unofficial since...it will be unofficial. But if it ends up good, I guess everyone will start referring to it, would save us loads of trouble of explaining the same solutions to the same issues over and over again.

So!.. After 3 days of work I made the stub I've promised earlier. It's the stub because it contains now only ONE useful entry (Drakan 2 on Windows). Please understand it was not my intention to invent or change anything here. It just crossed my mind that this Wiki will be much more of a database than the mostly uncategorized forums' entries. I asked about it here and there was no real answer so either it was up to me or just had to be dropped. I decided to make it happen.
It's nothing special to it, just a stub of a database. I'm already created some game articles (until letter 'G') and will add them until 'Z'. It doesn't really matter if they will be used or not but it helps the users not to spend much time trying to understand principles of Wiki. So, just find your game and modify the already present page making it meaningful.
And please correct my language while browsing the database!
Someone wanted to help me moderate, I'm not mush of a moderator because I'm always busy with other projects and cannot stay in one place for too long. So I will happily give you the required access but you must read some Wiki stuff first and understand a bit how it works (edit some pages, create some articles, look in admins' FAQs). Whenever you're ready, please PM me, but I don't think there will be many volunteers (moderatorship is a work after all).

Here are the links:

http://wiki.pcsx2.net/wiki/PCSX2_Wiki for the front page (the design is a subject to change of course it's also just a stub).
http://wiki.pcsx2.net/wiki/Drakan_-_The_...ts%27_Gate the only half-filled game page, please refer to it on how it can be done.
http://wiki.pcsx2.net/wiki/Help!_How_to_...bute_guide A little additional guide you can find useful before edit the pages.

I'd like this Wiki to grow and fill up. But if this will end up in a deadend I won't shoot myself. It's just a try after all. The real users will decide if it's worthless or have a meaning.

(I will also update the first page with this text)
