PCSX2CE: PCSX2 Cheat Converter / Patch File Editor

Yeah I tried all the available pnach files in that thread after my earlier post and none of them worked either, which leads me to believe that its something with the game. Regardless I gave up. The only codes I was really interested in were the blitzball ones I prefer playing the game as it was ment but I'm sick of getting trounced at blitzball (I swear the game cheats!)
I've given up for now but thanks for all your help!

how to open pnach file?

Open it with pcsx2(to use the cheats) or open it to edit/see the cheats from it.

To use it with pcsx2 you have to place it in cheats folder in pcsx2 directory and enable System=>Enable Cheats from pcsx2.

To edit it...the pnach file is a text file,you can open it with any text editor.

my code isnt working, what am i doing wrong? this is what i did:

to omniconverts input box and chose codebreaker v7 common. chose raw/unencrypted for input box and pressed convert. then i pasted the content of the output box to PCSXEs input, put in the CRC and pressed save. then i moved the saved file to C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 0.9.8\Cheats.

Enabled cheats from PCSX and loaded the game but I didn't get max money

Those are raw already,you don't need to convert them with omnliconverter,that's why they are not working

uh what if the CRC is more than 8?

The CRC has always 8 chars, since it's in hex

You should omit the '0x' and count the rest.

Hello there, i have a slight problem with my files.. wonder if anyone can help me? ..[wx] can't open file 'cheats\0779fbdb.pnach' (error 2: the system cannot find the file specified.)
even if i downloaded the pre-made Pnach file. it doesnt work too.
fyi. im codebreaking for my Final fantasy 12.. kinda need some help over here ! thanks moderators.
