PLZ Help! Can Play one game but not another

Plz help me

I ve Pcsx2 9.6 , I ve an iso file i.e Smackdown 5 Here Comes the Pain ( 802 mb) I can play it easily its bit slower still enjoyable. Now I have Smackdown 4 iso file when i run it , it starts fine but after 2minutes when i ve to select the wrestlers before that It gets stuck and stops there, do not move further. What should I do ? pls help

Start by using PCSX2 1.0.0, 0.9.6 is not supported.

I'm sorry to say the machine is too old (and so too slow) to play most games, no much to be done to remedy it.

The reason you can play (albeit bellow the "acceptable" performance) some games and can't play some other is the same you can play some PC games but not other. Like in PC is the game that has proper minimal requirements, not the emulator itself.

The first advice would be getting a new PCSX2 version, that one is too old... but then, the newest ones may be worse yet on this machine
