RE: PPSSPP PSP emulator thread.
Can anyone help with this? (also sent this to devina40)

First it wouldn't recognize my Xbox controller when trying to configure it (no idea what the problem there was) and when I loaded the game (which was fully working according to the compatibility forum thing) I was greeted by a screeching sound. Any ideas?

you should use "Xpadder" :

download: http://go4up.com/link.php?id=1niev7FcQbVG

first: Connect your pad now !
2-Decompress "xp53c.rar" that you have downloaded.
3- Launch "Xpadder.exe" ; you may have to run it in Compatibility Mode : right click on the file >> "Properties" >> "Compatibility" tab >> tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for :" then choose "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" and click on the OK button.
4- Since Xpadder is launched, you have to configure it by creating a layout and then creating a profile (assigning the controls like you want)

5- Launch "PPSSPPWindows.exe".
6- Click on the "Options" tab >> "Controls".
7- In front of "Force device :", choose "XInput" and click on the OK button.
8- Now you can load the game of your choice and enjoy ^^

And then do whatever you wanted to do anyway...

RE: PPSSPP PSP emulator thread.
Huge progress! Most audio and FMVs are working now. This is awesome!

You know what PPSSPP really needs? A setting which lets you use the right analog stick as the d-pad, because some games such as The 3rd Birthday have the d-pad as the camera controls, so having camera controls mapped to the right analog stick would make things a lot easier.
