PS2 Version Checker
#1
Hey I was looking into how to use CodeBreaker codes on a PS2 emulator and came accross a video where some guy said I needed a PS2 Game Version checker... I searched the forum and found nothing..

http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to/video/...tor-78744/

thats the link to the video.. does anyone know where I can get this program? Or does anyone know another way of using CodeBreaker/Action Replay codes when using the emulator?

I was thinking of using the normal Generic Game Trainers that I do for PC games on them.... search for a value.. edit value.. rescan.. that sorta thing.. anyone give me any tips? Smile

codebreaker recently changed to codetwink and so did their codes.
the codes are no longer compatible with pcsx2 (after decryption obviously)

Below is the link to ps2 version checker anyway
Its from CKEMU's website.

Nice one thanks a lot! I did a search for ckemu but it didnt show that he/she ahd a website... thanx a lot for that! Smile

Codes aren't copatable any more? Ahh.. so.. its either "Artmoney" or "Cheat Engine" then and search for my own codes yeh? Cheers Smile No big deal.. I am used to that for PC games any way Smile

I used to hack my own codes using the Xplorer cheat cartridge, later renamed Xploder. I was one of the guys that did the "body mods" for Gran Turismo 1 Smile I did the "Hybrid cars" and also actually bending the cars body to reshape the cars Smile Seems like a lifetime ago! hahaha When my PSX and PS2 died on me I never got round to buying a new machine.. and with my PC being pretty high spec, well.. at the time.. I just started playing PC games instead and forgot about PSX and PS2... so I have a load of games that sat gathering dust.. just recently I decided to give a go at PSX and PS2 emulators. I have a working PSX emulator with no probs on any game I have tried Smile BRING ON "Legend Of Dragoon"!!!!!!! hehe The PS2 one has been more hit or miss..

Anyways... life story over... hahaha cheers for yer help mate Smile

you sure they dont work ? unless its something from last week , i can assure you that they still work aslong as you use the decryptor

the only problem i had was with shadow heart :covenant where the raw code would be something like D or B and the emu doesnt accept them , but for ffxii i got from them , same for persona 3 and 4 and this was like in 20 Feb

but well you can still use http://www.codemasters-project.net/vb/fo....php?f=111 forum to check for codes , if artmoney or the cheat finder integrated on the emu dont do the trick

Codebreaker codes work for me and I don't need to decrypt them. If I try decrypting them, then PCSX2 crashes on load, but without decryption, they work just perfect.

Hmm... in that case I may just have to give them a go Smile What program would I use to get those codebreaker codes to work?

I tried the raw codes and tried to enter them in the pnatch file but they just crashed the emulator, the disc version and everything was correct too but no luck.

you do not need the master code and there's some things you need to change on the raw

one example its when the raw gives you like 1xxxxxxx xxxxxxxx and you change the 1 to 0 for example , there are a few posts here that actually explains you very well why

do you mean I have to change just the first digit of the raw code from the website or first digit of the converted code?

Anyways here are some RAW codes for unlocking characters, but the raw codes are already starting from "0"
Sophitia 0A4348E6 00000003
Seung Mina 0A4248E6 00000003
Yoshimitsu 0A4148E6 00000003
Charade 0A4048E6 00000003
Cervantes 0A4748E6 00000003

BTW all these raw codes crash the emulator.
