PS3 Controller doesn't work and can't run PS2 CD/DVD discs
#1
Can anyone help me? This is the first time I'm using PCSX2 (successfully) but I'm stuck.

I managed to get it running, and the controls work while I setting up the BIOS but only with the keyboard, my DualShock 3 was plugged in and selected in configuration on OpenPAD 1.1.0 at the time but still isn't working, doesn't work with ZeroPAD 0.3.0 either! Sad

Also, every time I try to run a PS2 game (a legit copy, not burned) into my CD/DVD drive and try to run it on PCSX2 it doesn't work. Just goes to BIOS and on Browser it doesn't come up. Anyone know how to get it to detect it? Wacko I'm using the CDVDnull Driver 0.6.0.

Many thanks! Biggrin

Well that's no help. Are there any plugins I can get for CD/DVDs? I don't want to have to download 1GB-2GB files. Can anyone help me with the PS3 controller problem then?

That would be illegal, so dont...
But converting your dvds to iso would be smarter, faster, and legal, though...

Don't you have to select AND remap the controller afterwards?

I'll be a good citizen and make my copies ISOs Blush

How do I remap it? I know how to remap it using a keyboard because it's just select and type but how do I do it for the DualShock 3? Same thing but the buttons on the controller? Also it never saves so I don't want to have to remap every time. Usually it's already done but it doesn't function so it's probably incorrect (or something like that).

I also can't even open ISOs, I selected the Linux ISO driver thing, selected an ISO I made (and it is legit, it's not the ISO) and then selected Open CD/DVD and selected the ISO however I still get the problem if I click Open ISO, and it just opens and closes. I get this message in Terminal, any help?

Here is where my EXP comes in. The segmentation fault HAS NO SOLUTION, as it is mainly caused by corrupt ISO's or ISO's in wrong format. How did you rip the dvd? It is recommended to use Terminal for that, as Terminal can make a byte-by-byte copy of a DVD/CD. Also, it is IMPOSSIBLE to run a CD/DVD from the tray, you MUST make an ISO.
