PS3 Controller on PC
#1
Hello, I have a pc running PCSX2, however I have a PS3 Controller that I prefer to use, rather than a keyboard and mouse. The PS3 Controller is USB, and windows recognizes it as a "joystick", as does this software. However, this software doesn't seem able to utilize the controller. I works when I test it using Windows default software/drivers, but I am unsure how to properly configure PCSX2 to use a PS3 Controller, if possible. Any ideas as to how this could be solved? I'm extremely new to this whole thing; just signed up for this, and haven't really gamed that much.
Thanks

You'll need to get drivers that make Windows recognize your PS3 controller as an Xbox 360 controller - Microsoft shenanigans and all that.
Xinput is free and works extremely well.
