PSP Emulator
#1
Is there a PSP Emulator available anywhere? There is one single game I'm going to want to play int he future, but paying 200$ to play one game seems silly Sad I was wondering if there is a PSP emulator out there and the game can be used on the PC.

you will have to buy the psp to use a psp emulator legally anyways, just like with pcsx2.
CPU Core i5-3570K@3.4GHz | GPU Nvidia Geforce GTX 570 | RAM 8GB DDR-3 1600MHz CL9 | OS Win7 Ultimate (x64) SP1
EMU PCSX2 v1.1.0 r5645 | GS GSdx SSE4 r5632 | SPU2 SPU2-X r5559 | PAD LilyPad r5403 | CDVD cdvdGigaherz r5403

This has nothing to do with PCSX2, moved.

That's not necessarily true. It depends on whether the emulator would fully emulate the bios/firmware. If it fully emulates that bios, you wouldn't need to buy the hardware since you wouldn't have to use a bios from actual hardware.

You'd still have to buy the game though of course.

Last time I tried PSP emulation , I found no good emulator.
I think PSP emulation is just neglected.

and with it risking to call the attention of sony? no thank you Laugh

as long as the psp is still a commercial asset i highly doubt someone is willing to invest his time into that.

I thought that the PSP was nice to emulate games from other consoles,
or do anything else than playing PSP games in it.

I mostly meant that sales of the PSP weren't all that great. DS pretty much destroyed PSP as far as handheld competition goes.
