Pcsx2 doesn't load game FFX (iso)
#1
Hi guys,

Just downloaded the latest version and followed the "Official English PCSX2 configuration guide v0.9.7". Have the bios and configured everything, but when I go to run the game (Final Fantasy X ISO), emulator screen goes black and I gotta close it.

Initially got error message "Failed to init Xaudio2 engine.." but changed this to direct sound and also no sound. Played with other settings and changed plugins eg. to new SPU2-x v2.0 and Linuz iso but still same result.

Not sure if problem lies in my specs, I'm running Windows 7 on a ASUS UL80VT laptop with:
Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 @ 1.30GHz, 533MHz FSB; 512K Cache (1.73GHz with Turbo33 enabled)
4GB of DDR3 RAM (1066MHz)
14" LCD (1366x768 resolution)
Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics + 512MB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce G210M discrete graphics (switchable).

Thanks for your time, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the quick reply. Emulation settings are basically unchanged except for changing to widescreen 16:9.
