Pcsx2 don't want to work
#11
pretty sure it is typing your password in but it doesn't show it for security reasons. just type it in normally and hit enter even though nothing shows up. otherwise if you edited some stuff and dumped a log of your whole activities your password might be in there without you remembering to remove it.

I'm not too sure if that's the case. I tried typing in the password even though it didn't move and still it says that I have an incorrect password.

I even tried just doing

cd /Applications/pcsx2.app/Contents/MacOS/
./pcsx2

and it gave me this...

I opened x11 and put the code in but when it got to my password it wouldn't let me type anything. save me!! ha

I have to modify my guide i see, you are supposed to type your password without anything showing.
Just type your password and press enter.
Due to security reasons it shows nothing when you type :-)

Hey all, I've been trying to get the thing opened for a few days now. I'm sort of new to this, so bear with me. I downloaded the pcx2, got the nvidia ng thing, but didn't get the x11 because the forum said I didn't need it for snow leopard. My problem is that when I try to open the PCX2 program, it starts then immediately closes. I assumed that it might be like some other emu's I've had that only open when you load a game, so I tried opening a kingdom hearts .iso, and it didn't even show on the list as a viable opener. Tongue did I do something wrong?

Sad
So it doesn't run from the application. I tried running X11 and got through to where you enter ./pcsx2 and it says it isn't found. Is there not an easier way to run this overtime you want to play it.

I had that problem and just decided to start over. Found the SL pkg file ( http://pcsx2mac.net/files/pcsx2SL.pkg ), installed and ran well from there.

Exactly the same problem here. Please help. I have tried the code with the Snow leopard and non-snow versions with the above; even tweaked the user ownership on pcsx2 but to no avail. It simply does nothing after entering the root#. Opens then crashes.
