Pcsx2 won't even open when i click on it. Can someone help?
#1
I searched many sites, forums, and guides but I could not find a solution anywhere.

I've tried versions 1.0.0 and 9.8.0 and neither worked.
When I try to open "PCSX2 0.9.8 (r4600)", I always get the same message.

"pcsx2-r4600.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I have restarted my computer, re-installed both versions (not at the same time), ran it as administrator, and tried compatibility mode. Nothing has worked.

Here is my system info...

I would give you my configuration info but I can't even get to the light blue pcsx2 start screen. In addition this worked on my other computer which ran a 64bit windows 7 system, the only reason I am trying to use this computer is because it is much faster when emulating or just playing games in general due to it having a better processor.

If any one could Please help, it would be very appreciated.

It's running a NVIDIA GeForce 8400m gs, which is supposed to be a very good card. The previous owner had this computer custom made quite a few years ago, one of the specifications was high gaming capability.

By the way I have DirectX version 10.0, so I am guessing it is not that.

Also thank you in advance, this is much appreciated.
