by running it on something else you also used your full rights

nothing's wrong with win 8 except for it being ***** in design and whatnot.

yes try running it as an administrator (i'e right click on pcsx2 and click on the Run as administrator, it's under Open

Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z

Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z
       (hint click on the highlighted links Biggrin)

Can you please open the taskmanager (tabTongue2rocesses) and run pcsx2 again?

There you should either see that pcsx2.exe is appearing and shortly after disappearing again or that there are already 28 pcsx2.exe open (due to your last tries)...

Btw. you have installed Win8 32-bit but have 4GB Ram. Due to limitations in 32bit OS systems you can not use the whole 4 GB but normally only 3 GB (as in your case)...

I think it's still 3.6GB usable isn't it? Not too much wasted there.

Depends on the system. I think the limit is somewhere between 2.9 and 3.5 GB... It also depends on how much time you invest in unlocking more ram (decreasing restricted ram addresses)

In his system settings 2.99 GB was listed as usable.. Therefore I just said 3GB...
