Penny Racers Intro Crash
#1
So I'm very new to this whole thing and only got the emulator to run Penny Racers.
So it loads, it plays the intro music like normal, then a few screens later a black game screen appears with this
following message in the script thingy (this is the screen where you are meant to click 'Start Game')

(EE pc:00173E98) TLB Miss, addr=0x11 [load]
(EE pc:00173E98) TLB Miss, addr=0xc [load]
(EE pc:00173E98) TLB Miss, addr=0x3d [load]

I've tried using both a downloaded ISO and one from the actual disc, both have the same error.
I've tried changing some emu settings, nothing works.

If it helps, I'm running Windows 8.1, have a GTX-660, i7-3770 @ 3.4 GHz

Delete the one you downloaded. It's piracy to download PS2 games.

Anyways, are you using cheats? Can you run your disc in your PS2?

If by cheats you mean in game cheats, no. I can run it perfectly fine on my PS2.

It's not exactly piracy if you download something you already own. As it's not illegal to make a backup of something you own.

As a solution, go to Gamefix, activate Manual gamefix and try the EE timing hack, let us know what happens.

Yes it is. You are authorized to make a backup copy of YOUR disc, not somebody elses.

It's a sneaky matter this one, even emulation is technically illegal. But I guess it's not the appropriate topic to talk about this stuff.

I did as you said and it came up with the same messages. Unsure
(last 3 lines are in red, i'm assuming this is the error)
Also I've attached 2 shots of my plugins and bios selection, if it has any relevance.

I doubt you own all them BIOS files either. Okay I'm closing this for piracy.

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
