[Performance] Soul Calibur 3 ..?
#1
Question
Cheers,

Game of the Day: Soul Calibur 3
Problem: It runs at 1.6-2.5 fps menu/ingame

And the question is: why? O_O Turning speedhacks on or off doesn't help at all.

Specs:
Core2Duo E6400 2.13 OCed to 3.04
3GB Ram
MSI GF 8800GT 1GB

I tried it with every possible GSDx setting, versions 0.7.1 or 0.14.1, with or without sound, with or without speedhacks.

Wut in ze warld iz goink on? Laugh

Nah, tried that, still 15 fps menu, 3fps ingame.

The difference seems to be DX10. Could it really affect the speed that much?

I've been missing menus in MANY games since pcsx2 0.9.6 was released...

I'll be posting back here later.. I was running soul calibur 3 at 5 FPS with GSDX 9....gonna try it again later today with gsdx 10

EDIT: 50-60 FPS stable, nice lol

With x3 Cycle Rate im not able to see the menu only with x1 or x2 but with this config its to slow ingame , so i dont care about the menu xD

Try to use zerogs. With GSDX I have ~10fps , with zerogs it 45-50fps in PAL and 50-60 in NTSC

Crap...how in blazes did you get such a framerate on a graphic intensive games like that!? We both have the same CPU (Core 2 Quad Q6600 non OCed at 2.40GHz)...wait, it has to do with DX10, right?
