Performance question

Clamping mode --> normal on EE/IOP fixed it Laugh
And i still have the performance boost. I can now play it almost normally without a CPU overclock :X

frame skipping to skip annd draw 5 or more but you have a powerfull cpu so it will be good higher them if it still slow

well you just dont neet a thermal paste on overclocking you also need a 4 heatpipes after market cooler.. but if want to go higher overclock better buy extra fan for your cpu casing.. you can pm me for overclocking procedure

with the E8400, you'll be able to hit 3.6v easy with your current voltage, or maybe a bit more. To get it stable though I'd loosen your RAM timing a bit.
CPU: i7 930 @ 2.8GHz(Everyday)/3.6GHz(Gaming)/4.0GHz(Encoding)
GPU: Geforce GTX 480 @ 850MHz/1001MHz
Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D-E
RAM: 2x3 6GB OCZ @ 1527MHz 8-8-8-24

well a good thermal paste (like arctic mx-3 or coollaboratory pro etc [really great those 2]) does make a great difference from a bad one. i even saw 8c difference...

but you have to search allot, price is the same in most of them

Well, i have this cooler, the tuniq tower 120 (random picture):

But, as i said, i have a sh1ty thermal paste atm. It still cools very good even with it. The CPU is not oc'ed atm, ram is corsair dominator 2x1GB ddr2 1066 (TWIN2X2048-8500C5D) working at [email protected] atm.

If i oc the CPU to 3,66Ghz, what timings should i set the ram to? (sorry if this oc question is offtopic)

you should make the timings more than 8-8.... so when you finish overcloking you cant tight them up again so they dont cause any problems while you are doing it.

the cooler looks good but i cant see ANY fan's installed in it. you should add one at the front and one at the back side of it so you can create air flow inside it.
as for thermal paste a good one really does the job done ( i saw 10c difference when i replaced the default my cnps 9700 had with coollaboratory pro)

The fan is in the middle of it Smile)
Here, u can read more about it: http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cf...cleID=2198 (a random review from google search)

So, should i set the timings to 8-8-8-24 before i oc? Or something like this?

yep you need to loosen them so they dont affect stability while you oc, after than you try to tighten them as much as you can.
