Not much to do here, it's just won't get faster than this unless I can come up with a better way to emulate this effect.

So is there nothing i can do?

i tried everything that other ppl have answered to, and none of it helped my fps at all or the lagg i receive when in battle or in major towns with lots of different things in them?
My Specs are
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
CPU: AMD Phenom 9500 2.20 GHz, 3GB DDR2
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 2400XT
SPU: Creative SB Audigy 2ZS Platinum

you could use a resolution lower than native (512 x 512) in the internal resolution, it speed up my game so it might help you
My Laptop:
CPU: intel T4200 @ 2.0 ghz
GPU: Intel GMA X4500M
Ram: 3 Gb DDR2
SO: WinVista Home Premium // Windows 7 Ultimate x32

Huh well i have to say, i feel like an idiot. that boosted up my gameplay by alot.
i can't believe i didn't think about it b4.
i have been playing for like an hour and no draw backs behind it so i think that might of helped me the most here.

Can I know what is your config settings for persona 4? Like the cpu and advanced settings.

I am also trying to get this running but I see texture problem what I move my character. The floor where he is walking will change color. I already tried the fix hack but still same problem.
Windows 7 x64
Intel G2020 2.9GHz, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GT630GT 2048mb
